Would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck would?

Can someone help me. I still do not know what a woodchuck is? Never seen one on National Geographic or any animal show for that matter. I see a furry creature run in front of my car when I am driving down the alley behind my house and I wonder is that really a squirrel or might it be a woodchuck? "I don't know because I don't know if in fact a woodchuck looks like a squirrel."

HELP?

A woodchuck (also known as groundhog) looks much like a beaver but they live more on land than water. We have them all over the place behind the creek in the fields. They dig holes in the ground and burrow and are a nuisance. I used to call them "Ground Chucks" when I was little (putting woodchuck and groundhog together) and never realized that was hamburger. LOL Anyway PB... hope I helped :D

Also it goes like this... "How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?" Gosh, I think that was my dad's favorite tongue twister!
